Life In Technicolor

   Hey peeps! I hope you've been doing well in all your personal endeavors; May your bills stay paid, your partner  stay acting right and your eyebrows stay on "fleek" ( as the youth say LOL).

   This week I was feeling thankful to be in the Midwest completely being missed by Blizzard-geddon or Snowzilla or whatever they called it lol. So I decided to celebrate by injecting a big ole shot of color into my outfit. 

(Yup I forgot to give my photographer my phone case lol. So sue me, I still look good haha.)

  Winter palettes are usually pretty dark and rich; burgundy, blacks, grays and the like; nice, but also kind of a downer sometimes... So I flipped the script here and went for blue and orange. A burst of summer in the thick of winter. I have my reasons.

 1) Fashion rules are more like guidelines. To me at least.  2) I've been itching to wear these orange tights all Winter ^_^ 3) Blue and orange are on opposing sides of the color wheel and this means they make for an excellent statement.  They punch each other up to 11 so to speak.

( Woof woof. Get it? Cause it's houndstooth! Eh? Eh?...ill let myself out now lol. ) 

   This goes for any color on the wheel; red and green, purple and yellow. Try it next time you need a little excitement. You will definitely turn heads!
