Not Mad Decent or Adding Another Thing To My Murtaugh List
The best place to start with this post is with this fact : I'm a few months shy of 30. 30 is an age that for me, has a lot of complicated emotions. When I was a kid, 30 was the age when you had your whole life figured out. You probably had a house and a car and if you wanted them, a spouse and children. 30 was the age when you stopped trying to figure yourself out and you just started living your best life.
Cut to me, knocking on 30. I'm married happily with children, BUT I'm still renting and our one car is far from new. My finances are far far far away from stellar and my job is not a career. I have basically nothing figured out. Adult? Me? I guess????
Cue this weekend. I attended an outdoor techno fest with my husband and the combination of the disgusting venue, torrential downpour of rain which soaked us through and all the YOUTHS, revealed to me one thing: I'm getting too old for this [redacted].

That being said, the day wasn't a total wash (BA DUM TSH). I got a few cute shots of my outfit down in the Eastern Market, where we wandered around before hitting the Mad [NOT] Decent Block Party.
The area has so many great shops and stalls and as you can see, some of the best graffiti around. This? I'm never too old for . I conquered my fear of Mom jeans with this nifty pair from Gwynnie Bee and I paired it with an old band tee and my comfy chic Adidas.
Another thing I'll never grow out of? Evolving my style, finding ways to keep it hip and playful as I age. I hope, dear reader you never do either .
Gertriatrically Yours,
Porschia
